What is IFLC's definition of private trust?
A private trust is an individual's instructions for the management by another party of all or part of their property. Trustees have ultimate responsibility for the preservation and appropriate deployment of assets in a trust, ensuring that invested assets are productive and managed appropriately given the trust's objectives. Consequetnly, trustees clearly qualify as Investment Stewards.

How does IFLC maintain the confidentiality of its private trust members?
Names, addresses and/or telephone numbers are not released to anyone without the expressed permission of the member. No roster or membership lists are published on IFLC's website or elsewhere.

Are there membership requirements?
Yes. Trustees of private trusts may join IFLC. There is no minimum requirement, however, for the value of assets held in a trust that desire membership in IFLC. Private trusts are not required to be certified prior to admission to IFLC.

What are Fiduciary Roundtables?
Led by an industry expert, Fiduciary Roundtables represent an opportunity for trustees of private trusts to share ideas and experiences with one another on a topic of interest in a location near you.

What is FiduciaryNETTM?
FiduciaryNETTM is IFLC's members-only password-protected area. FiduciaryNETTM contains experts' conversations as well as research, educational and networking features of membership.
